]]> If you think wool is great for us, the animals just love it. One reason we believe that the animals love wool is because it smells like nature. A cat’s nose is 14 times more sensitive than ours, we believe they could smell the off gassing of their synthetic bedding materials which is why they prefer the natural wool bedding. Polyester and polyurethane foam pillows have the highest amount of petrochemicals in them which is not safe for your cat to breathe all night long.

Cats love a warm cushy place to lay and a bed made of felted wool fluff is just about the best. The wool stuffing reflects the cat’s heat and feels like an electric blanket on low, just perfect for those long afternoon naps or a cold night.

The cat beds measure 21 inches by 27 inches and are about 5 inches tall. Beds are filled with the wooly down felted fluff and covered with 100% cotton canvas cover. The pillow has a flannel casing that comes off like a pillowcase and can easily be washed. The bed is hand washable in cold water in the sink or tub. It can be dried in the dryer or put outside to dry on some towels to dry.
All the wool for the cat bed is grown, washed and prepared right here on the farm. When you buy a cat bed you are supporting a small regenerative  farm and the people and animals that are here. Everyone thanks you for your support!

]]> We have 3 kitties on the farm and they love the wool. I think one of the reasons is that the wool smells natural to them. Cats have over 200 million odor receptors in their noses compared to our 5 million. Most of the stuff in our environment is man made and to the animals the chemicals smell bad to them and are bad for them. The cats are drawn to the natural wool smell.
