Product Description
Good compost is one of the best ways to increase your microbial population in your compost pile. Adding more diversity to your compost microbes will:
- make your compost pile finish faster
- increase the diversity of your microbial population of your compost pile
- The more microbe species you have, the more nutrients will be available to the plants.
Here at the Living Farm, we have been growing our microbial population in our compost for over 39 years. Our plant size and production exceeds industry standards and our main source of nutrients is our compost.
“I love the diversity and robustness of my garden and I have been working on the microbial population for years. I feel that we have an excellent microbial population in our compost.” – Lynn Gillespie
If you would like to inoculate your compost pile with our microbial strains, then order a bag of TLF Microbial Compost Accelerator to your compost pile.
How do we make our compost? Not all composts are created equal. Some may include sewer sludge, pesticides and other chemicals. The materials for the TLF Microbial Compost is sourced from our organic farm. This way we know what is in it and more importantly what is not in it. Our compost goes through the bacterial and fungal stages until it is matured and ready to use. This is the only compost that we use here in our grow beds!
