Outdoor Gardens

We have many outdoor gardens, allowing us to grow even more in the warm summer months. We utilize both our raised cinder block bed technique in some of the gardens and other gardens utilize lasagna gardens. Lasagna, earth, or layer gardens are build with lots of straw and other compostable matter upon which the plants are grown in small pockets of dirt. This does three things, keeps the weed load down, holds in moisture, and builds a layer of compost under the garden which over time will develop into dark rich soil.
